🔥 Fire Prohibition Notice — Cariboo Fire Centre
Effective 12:00 noon PDT, April 23, 2026, Category 2 and 3 open fires are prohibited across the entire Cariboo Fire Centre, including the area surrounding Nugget Hills RV Park. This order remains in effect until 12:00 noon October 31, 2026, or until rescinded.
What is prohibited: Open fires (Category 2 & 3), fireworks, burn barrels, burn cages, carbonizers, binary exploding targets, air curtain burners, and controlled air incinerators.
What is permitted: Category 1 campfires (0.5m high × 0.5m wide or smaller), CSA/ULC-rated cooking stoves, propane fire pits with flame height under 15 cm.
